ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Today, Orange Supervisor Katrina Foley released a statement in response to the arrest of an Orange County Deputy Sheriff accused of sexually assaulting multiple women at Theo Lacy.
“Such egregious dereliction of duty and abuse of power over vulnerable women must not be tolerated. I’m proud of the jail staff who discovered and quickly reported the abuse,” said Supervisor Foley. “I respect the swift action taken by our Orange County Sheriff’s Department to remove this predator within 24 hours of notice. We cannot allow bad actors to betray their oath to protect and serve.”

Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2021 to represent Costa Mesa, Cypress, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Stanton, the unincorporated area of Rossmoor, and portions of Buena Park and Fountain Valley.
